I'll be the first. While driving back from Atlanta down I-75 yesterday, I had a 3G signal without interruption from Alpharetta to Milemarker 193 on I-75.

Since the original thread was so large, let's continue the discussion here.
Please post information related to 3G rollout in new markets or expansion in existing markets only.
If you have questions on "when" a specific market/area will launch please start a new thread.
This will help keep this thread from getting as cluttered as the original.
Thank you.

Well - 3G launched on southern NH, but it seems to now be sputtering. I am curious once the towers launch how much "tweaking" is done. When it first launched in my town (Windham. NH) I was getting 3-5 bars at home. It was VERY solid. now a couple weeks later and I am getting from 0 (no service) to 2 at best.
Does anyone know if they mess with the installations once they are fired up?
Looking for any new info on the 3G launch on the middle Texas coast (Bay City, Palacios, Wharton).
Last I heard was that it would be on before the end of the 2nd quarter. March 31st?
This will be in the Dobson conversion area. It will be 850Mhz 3G.

Quick update on Southern NH - 3G seems to be back to strong and stable. (other than the ATT data outage then affected the North east last week)
Just thought I would throw this in, while driving through Tulsa late last night I decided to do a speed test. I was surprised when I saw over 2 Mbps, I had to do it again! I got 2.2 the second time! I had trouble getting it regularly, I only got it in a few places while driving through. So it is possible that HSDPA is live in Tulsa? I think that is what it is called.![]()

I heard this morning that Augusta, Ga will be rolling out the 3G service during Master's week. Of course I've heard these promises before, so we will see.
Here is some reading material for 3G Coverage in GA for 2009

I'm repeating myself, but in case anyone looks here, Dutchess County, NY 3G came up last night, on Friday the 13th. Speeds are looking real good. About equal to my cable modem. Flipped over to 2G once this morning for about 5 minutes, at 7 bars, then went bak to 3G also at 7 bars. Whoo Hoo!
Northern Dutchess County, NY is still only 2g
98% of Dutchess is still 2G.Originally Posted by Stolenvw
Augusta, Ga area is now live. Just in time for the Masters. Still spotty, but it is the first day.
