Its the same thing with the Sonim phone. But with the Sonim phone we have at least a price to it. The LG is expected to be sent out within the month. The is pretty slick, played around with one a couple weeks ago!

Do the stores happen to have the W35 there that they could demo if I wanted to take a look at the performance there?

Most stores will have a G32 unit up, which is more of a landline unit. I sent a e-mail about it and most stores came back and said they would not be able to hook up a W35 unit due to the software you have to install on the computer. But most stores should have a Edge Card in a laptop, that would be pretty similar to the speeds of the W35 unit.

Alright, I'll check out an Edge card to see what its capabilities are. Thanks for the info.

So, will there be some sort of announcement when the network speed upgrade is complete?

Speaking of advertising, looks like Viaero ruffled some feathers at VZW. I had seen one of these ads that claimed Alltel customers were going to lose their plans not long ago. I actually found it rather misleading myself, but I never thought they'd really get Verizon's attention. I had just chalked it up to some of the rather amateurish advertising they seem to do.

In any case, I think the article exaggerates a bit by indicating that Viaero is a nationwide carrier. There's a bit of a distinction between offering nationwide coverage, and operating nationwide.

Is there a time frame that you can try an internet card, and return while only paying the monthly fee prorated by the number of days you had it like other carriers allow?
