So, is the data speed upgrade target of around January you mentioned still looking realistic?

I was looking at the Viaero site, and I noticed that it no longer shows the Nationwide data plan. I take it that's no longer offered?

The Nationwide data plan is still in effect. The price would be $79.99/month.

I hope so, because Verizon is a complete joke. I may as well be on dial up around here.

Since we're a 3rd of the way into January, would Viaero have a target date set for the upgrade going live?

Now that the major carriers have cut their unlimited plans, what will be Viaero's response? I would like to see them simplify their plan portfolio.

And the Snap plans STILL are not shown on the website even though they came out months ago...

Ah, I was hoping that it would be out sooner, from our conversation. Are these different towers than your cell towers, or do you have a set of cell towers with the faster internet enabled?

I believe they are the same towers. If they were not the same towers, the waiting period would be a lot longer for them to build the towers. I thought it would have been sooner as well, but the weather has not been the greatest so far. Im sure that delayed it a little bit

I just joined Viaero from Alltel. I'm so far very pleased/ The call quality is great and the customer service is outstanding. Now if I could figure out this alcatel phone..lol way different then what I'm used to.

My brother and his wife live in NE Nebraska but for about 3 months per year they stay in a very rural part of NW Florida, where the only ATT has coverage. They recently switched their service from Alltel to Viaero because Viaero roams on ATT outside their native coverage. When they signed up with Viaero, they were very clear about their schedule and were told that it was no problem. So far they've been very pleased. I half way suspect that they are going to get dinged for excessive roaming. Time will tell.

Took me a few days but I did get email, youtube, and now I got it to stream music all setup on it.. As they say the smartest non-smart phone out there. The only thing I don't like about it is the camera. Its a 2 meg pixel but the quality is not the best, but you can use it as a web cam. My Pearl was a 2 meg but the pics were better.

I just signed up with Viaero about a week ago. I'm having some issues though, I was hoping someone here might have some suggestions?

My phone is an Alcatel Tribe OT-800A. It sends and receives text messages from other phones fine, but I'm having trouble sending messages to it through email. What I mean is that when I send an email to [email protected], my phone is not receiving it. (I've also tried [email protected], the phone does not receive that either.) I'm sure I have the correct address, as I took a picture with the phone and sent it to my email, and then I did a direct reply, and still the phone did not receive the message.

Is this likely just some sort of setting that is set weird? What would cause this behavior?

    Thanks for any help!!
