I looked it up.... CRUD you're right. but that just makes me more stoked.

Now I just need to research XDA to see if a custom rom can fix the tethering upsale page.

EFS folder fixes are permanent right? I dont think they can get you after that if it works... I believe at least.

Yes it should although I'm more worried about signal degradation than anything

Yes, the EFS folders stay in place, that said, save backups on your PC and elsewhere, just in case.

Cyanogen7 can remove the problems with tethering.

maybe moving the folder from the AT&T version fixes RF?

I wonder if we got a AT&T SGSII and moved its /EFS to replace T-Mo's /EFS, maybe it would be even better?

Yes! T-Zones is the best deal in wireless; unlimited HSPA+ data for $3-$6 working on dual core phones. Now that the AT&T merger looks doomed, T-Zone users really lucked out. Glad I've hung onto it this long.

The SGSII is a excellent choice, its radio operates at 42m/sec, and includes the NAM bands, allowing us to use AT&T's 3G/HSPA+ it will likely have to allow us to use.

Tried deleting the efs from the exhibit II but all it did after reboot was somehow made a new efs folder with same IMEI. Possibly have to replace the folder with the captivate? Does anyone have a captivate efs that they can share?

T-Mobile doesn't carry many dumbphones any more that has much resale value.
Anyone have this happen or didn't happen to them? I'm itching to pull the trigger on a smartphone upgrade online.

All it says is "This phone requires a Web service in order to access the Internet, e-mail, and more. After you receive your new phone, you’ll need to visit My T-Mobile to add an Android Web service.".

I looked into Wiki that HTC Sensation (Unlocked Version not T-mobile version) will work with T-zone.

    Can anyone verified this?

Also does anyone know where I can get the Unlocked version of HTC Sensation for great deal. I looked on CL but it T-mobile version.

Yeah it works. You can get it if your careful on amazon or on ebay. You need to contact the seller. They were around $500+ though

I pulled the plug and did an upgrade online. I have not used the phone yet (I will be returning it due to some other change in plans, and will have to go through resetting my upgrade status), but my plan has not been touched yet. Dont know if that is triggered by usage of the phone or by the act of ordering the phonr online.
