    Yup

I would have to say best movie of the year. Its like a modern day E.T. (much better version)
I caught the p1i, and all the vaio placement.

    found it very boring.

It wasn't really a bad movie, just kind of eh

(but I will admit, I am not a big sci-fi fan)

It was pretty good. Not the "...best movie of the year" in my opinion. It was very interesting. The drama toward the end kept you anxious.

I thought it was pretty intense. Can't wait for a sequel.

Oh, and pig as a projectile - hilarious.

I was wondering if it was a UIQ phone. This confirms it.

I really enjoyed the movie. For a Westerner like me, it gave me a little insight into what Apartheid was like.

I think this was my biggest issue with the film.

I don't go to the movies to be preached too about an issue, and this film was way to political and preachy for me.

Waste of my time. Hated 90% of the movie. I liked the pig missle though.

I didn't notice a political agenda in this either, I'd like to know what you picked up on.

Thanks for exposing the elephant in the room... of course there are apartheid parallels... but what political agenda is the movie pushing exactly?

It simply takes existing and historically supported elements of human nature and builds a cool-*** sci-fi plot around it.

There are morals and messages in the movie of course... but none of them are political or preachy in nature.

If you are someone who insist on all movie narratives being about action and explosions with no messages attached because you're too smart and enlightened to be "preached too" then skip this movie and go re-watch Independence Day.

like I told my roommate, "it's the most COMPLETE movie of the year"...
kinda reminded me of Minority Report in the way the movie didn't depend
on the CGI, there was a good story and good acting...
