Can't confirm because there are no clear pics of the N97 Mini's keyboard yet. I'd like to hope so, I like that the comma and period no longer share a key and that the SHIFT, SYM and Function keys are all together.

Mark, actually, seems Eldar changed his mind about posting a lot of pics at this point (must have received a friendly call from Nokia):

    Eldar:
"We decide to save "spy photos style" for preview, and prepared pics not as usual. Have to save something for Nokia to anounnce "

At least Mobile-Review is still doing a preview later, he's just going to refrain from posting the pics that display the specs of the device. Booooooooo

I'm sorry but is anyone else sick of the SAME font we've been seeing in the Nokia's UI for the past couple years?

    +1

Among other things that I'm sick of, heck yes. I thought I was the only one who is annoyed of their tired fonts.
I want to buy your Nokia E7.

    Nope. .........

    A few quick observations:
    - multiple (4 it seems) completely user configurable homescreens, and look like you can swipe through them
    - pop-up dialogues look nice, probably slide out from the bottom, and nice how the background is still partly visible in the background to give context
    - FM transmitter (probably was confirmed earlier?)
    - application switcher looks pretty nice
    - maps app looks pretty sweet
    - image gallery too, pic manipulation on device (cropping)
    - centralized settings scrollable through
    - web page widgets on homescreen
    - much nicer calendar app than on S60

I would be excited, if it weren't for that ****** 3-row keyboard.

Seriously Nokia, you couldn't provide a 4-row keyboard on a device of that size?

It's not the worst thing in the world on the N97 (they could have added an extra row had they removed the spaces between the keys) but when you look at how huge the display half of the RX-51 is and see that it doesn't even slide halfway up, it's frustrating lol

wow... anyone else excited as i am? This is the "freshness" Nokia needed. I'm sure it'll get better in 2010 with symbian foundation blahblahblah, but this will do for now.

I'm so glad I was wrong about the cellular voice capability. Screenshots that stick out are Mail for Exchange (ActiveSync solution) plus Maps looks pretty sexy. Can't wait to see more when the official announcement happens.
