so the wait continues, the pre-authorization dropped from my checking account this morning and no charge. i hope nokia and t-mobile didn't strike some last minute deal and we have to wait for oct 25th.

On my online statement it says the payment already debited from my card when I ordered it. And when did you get the email? I haven't gotten anything from buy.com yet.
    Let's all get a long.

If you used paypal then buy.com will bill you the moment you place the pre-order even though it hasnt shipped. That's how buy.com works.

Well at least it looks like actual improvements might be made since they loaned out 300 devices at the Summit. Guess we'll see.

Who knows, maybe they'll throw in MMS.

What the[*] is wrong with Nokia....here they go again . By the time they'll release the phone, it would already be old and some other phone will be dominating the market which should have been N900's.

*Mod Edit: You want to settle down please. It is only a phone. (First and only warning to abide by the rules that you agreed to when you signed up, BTW.

Nokia has realized that first impressions are the most important. Look at the N97. When it was first reviewed, it was seen as garbage. Now all of the firmware updates in the world wont take that out of reviewers of heads (Mainly US based sites, we know who they are). Sucks for us, but smart for Nokia.

Agreed. This is a revolutionary device and its introduction has to be spot on.
