No luck recieving MMS here with the new servicebook you posted (and I Alt+SBEB'd this time :P). Are there supposed to be two MMS transport entries? One has an IP and the other is 0.0.0.0....maybe this is conflicting?

I wasnt sure if the new ones would work or not... I guess it is NOT
It should be 1 mms client and 1 mms transport. I am guessing that transport doesnt work without BIS.

I am using the service books you posted in this thread. I downloaded the facebook app via the BB browser and installed it. It said it installed successfully, but I don't have an icon for it in my apps list. Any idea what's wrong? I am using an 8130.

I know for a fact that in general , Sprint phones use a non standard proprietary Sprint version of MMS to send pic/vid messages. (Picture Mail). I'm just wondering if this extends to Sprint Blackberries as well. Iden Blackberries don't use sms, they go through mms to get it. But that's iden. Sprint Berries could have some weird variation too.

My WE is Verizon branded, though... I think it's probably just crippled because it doesn't have a camera.

I installed the Browser_via_TCP_and_other_verizon_books_V1.1.ipd file onto my Alltel BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 on PagePlus and I can see that the Broswer and Maps icons have shown up...but still no internet connection or map functionality at all!

    Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330

PC-Tech101....In an earlier post you mentioned that you flashed a Sprint BBerry 8330. What all did you manage to get to work on the phone? I am wanting to flash mine to Verizon, but I want to make sure that at least voice and SMS texting works. If I could get SMS, MMS, Voice and web working I would really be happy and if anyone knows if there is ANY way to do this, please let me know.

This thread is for service books. Try looking at my other threads. Your questions have been asked before and by searching a little you would already know.

Service Books do not actually make Internet work.
You have to configure your internet if you are using a NON VERIZON PHONE. That is another thread.

My service books do not make MMS work from what I can tell.
They do make BB Browser, BB Maps work.

YOU DO NOT NEED THESE SERVICE BOOKS TO HAVE WORKING INTERNET.

Opera Mini and Gmails apps work without these service books.

These service books make BB Browser and BB Maps work.
