It's not Apple we're talking about here, supply will be good and lines (in most cities) will be less than 20 people. Not enough time between now and Nov 6th to have a MAJOR marketing campaign to attract the hordes like Apple does. Windows 7 was a BIG launch, and yet you could just waltz into Best Buy at any given time of day and grab any copy your heart desired. There were no campouts, no fuss, no police involved, nada lol

I will camp out - online! I refuse to buy Verizon phones in the store due to their stupid rebate policy.

I'm not going to camp out, but if they offer a midnight launch, I'll go pick it up then.

The Storm was the biggest marketing push at the time.. every store in my area had lines in the morning, and no store in my state had them by 7pm on release day.

I'm going in the morning of to pick one up.

When I pre-ordered my Voyager, it arrived the day it came out in the stores. I've thought about camping out, but will probably order online when it's available to do so.

I will probably just leave work a few minutes before the store opens and take my chances. May stop in the day before and ask what they anticipate for Droid sales.

yea, wont be camping out but im deff going to get there 30 or so min before the store opens to see if there is a line..

i would do it online for the sake of the stupid rebate BS but im not going to sacrifice waiting another 1-3 days, and an overnight fee..

If its available online before the 6th then thats different. lol

Generally, you can get an instant rebate when purchasing on-line. In-store generally requires mail-in.

You can request overnight shipping (often at no additional charge). Saturday delivery is more complicated, but it is an option as well.
