There are several HoFo members who already have it so by your logic, it's been official for over a month.

The devs and bloggers who got them a month ago have been getting software updates almost weekly. They're up to production-spec software now (the hardware was always final)

You work for Nokia to say that the hardware has always been final?

You've seen 1 or 2 members post that they have one. There are several people who are on HoFo that don't post a lot but I know they have them because we communicate everyday via different methods.

I don't work for Nokia but if you don't believe me, I can put you in contact with my Nokia contacts who have had N900s since August and were the ones who confirmed that the hardware is finalized.
