    ^^I'm in the same boat...i need some re-insurance that this is indeed coming out sometimes soon or i'll be gearing up to switch to Sprint (ugh).

    too bad it comes with android 2.1! Hopefully it won't require the $30 data plan though since it's cheaper than the high end android phones

    I don't think so because I am able to use it on $1.5 daily PAYG internet as other branded Android phones (except behold II) can't be used.
