Finally I found a thread for getting the web to work on the VX11000 and I cannot go any further For one when I overwrite the FileDB the phone does not restart like you mentioned in the guide and next I do not know what it is to send spc. However none of that really matters because I cannot get the version of Cdma Workshop that I need to change settings... What do I do?

So can you flash all lgs the same way but you just have to find the right phone dll file? Seems like the dare is the only phone that is a different flash. Also picture messaging works for all lgs too right?

I made headway with LGNPST and the dll. Now I load LGNPST with the phone connected and it loads the information and shows VX-11K as the driver. However; I select "Phone Setting" so that I can change the PPP and HDR settings to Metro PCS's internet settings and I get an error stating "Can't Create PhoneSetting.ocx". I registered the ocx like I did with the dll and still get that error. This is the last step and I cannot find any useful information on it.

Hello, electropyro. So since I have PM'd you I have done everything to the phone except:

    10. Change the
    PPP USER TO: [email protected]
    HDR USER TO: [email protected]
    11. change the IP Behaivor to Simple IP

This is because I cannot get CMDA Workshop. I have been trying to do NAV Edit in LGNPST but get the PhoneSetting.ocx error thus am unable to edit the settings.

Soon after I originally contacted you about having problems I went through pages of forums posts about LGNPST, LG Download, QPST and BitPim to try and get into the phone and change the settings. LGNPST is the program I had the most luck with but when I go to Phone Settings I get an error stating it "Can't Create PhoneSetting OCX". On LG Download I cannot even get the dll errors to cease no matter what I try. QPST does not help me any because I cannot even see my phone. And BitPim does not show any settings that I can change (or I do not know how it works)...

i dont used lgnpst or lg download because of all the errors i always get. stick to cdmaworkshop and qpst and u should be fine. if qpst isnt detecting your phone then go to add port and add the port its on. if it still giving u problems then u might need the newer build and or a different driver.

Thanks for the reply. I have NO luck getting CDMA Workshop. I wish I did so I could use the rest of your guide step-by-step. Maybe I will have to see what other versions of QPST I can find. What alternative drivers could I use?

    UPDATE:
Got the new version of QPST and still have no luck finding the phone. Went in search of CDMA Workshop 3.4.1 again to no avail. I am really running out of ideas and steam...
