    Help Regarding Hypersim

    Hi Everyone

I first off want to say thank you for all the comments / and help that you provide for my dilemma below.

I purchased an Inex hypersim version 2.9 and I am having problems with it. I apparently was trying to activate the hypersim in my Nokia E71 and when I booted it it told me the SIM card was rejected and It decided to turn the phone off. So then I try using my C905 to activate the card and it said no signal this time. I made sure i was using a version 1 sim card from rogers and made sure all the pins were aligned. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem before, if so how did you fix it?

    Thanks
    end of contract

    here is the run down

    Inex 2.9 + sim +c905 = no signal
    Inex 2.9 + sim+ e71 = no signal
inex 2.9 + sim + sh906 = insert VIM * i am assuming thats the jap alternative to a sim*

    c905+ sim = signal
    e71+sim = signal

I am pretty sure my hypersim is defective.. or is it just me?

    do this

    1. sim+c905/e71 = signal
    then
    2. sim+hypersim+sh906i = should have signal

if that still doesn't work then get a new inex. inexes are known to break easily.

I got some stuff that's stronger than inex. But keep in mind hypersims are not indestructable.

    It's all good (^_^)

The way the ICs are these days. There's usually no visible damage to the human eye. But if the chipset has layer separation then the hypersim is toast. You can't see layer separation lol

I think its another dead inex. BTW There is a nearly indestructible hypersim, CNsimcard, the think is so damn thick...

Yea the IC on cnsimcard is pretty big. Not to mention industrial-grade soldering on the chip legs and the hypersim itself made of thick metal.
