    I was Hired!!

    Yup! I'm now part of the fido team!

    Any advice on what to do at the beginning ?

    just sell your heart out while getting paid squat to do so.

    The only advice i have is read up on the bulletins for Fido each time your in.

    If it was Rogers they would have a new announcement each week, with Fido you will see one every 2 weeks, if that! LOL

    And don't mess up the plans know them inside out, so you don't have to refer to any brochures when selling someone on the service, not to mention knowing all the valuepacks/ costs of features is nice too...

    I do have one tip for you : DON'T call retention or OS for issues you KNOW we will say no. You will just waiste our and your time.
    I.E. : "Yeah, I have Mrs. X with me at the store, she lost her iPhone wants another one for free"...

    I'm working for Retention at the call center of Montreal and I'm just sick and tired of store reps calling for things they KNOW we won't/can't do.
