So everybody else on other carriers gets a new phone with new hardware and we get an upgrade to an old phone. Great.

And it will be outdated the day it comes out..... I'll stick with the streamlined custom ones. Maybe they'll have a bit better radio flash that we will get out of it.

A new radio might be the only bright side.

who is getting new phones? every other tp2 has 6.5. Sprint getting 6.6. As far as hardware, only the HD2 has better hardware and now we find out it wont be getting winmo 7.

Well Woop Dee Doo 6.5.3 (6.6). On 2-3 year old internals. As I said in another post I can't defend them anymore. A sound business model is when the competitor comes out with something compelling, you be there with your own device like verizon. Sprint believes it has the luxury of time. It does not. IE. Verizon being there with the nexus ready to do combat with tmobile or any other carrier who tries to step in with a new compelling device. Sprint is practically shouting names from across the street. Hesse is talking about he doesn't mind being #3, well what about 4 or 5.

Sprint is always late when it comes to updating phones. Look at how long we had to wait for our Curve update while everyone else already had the 4.5 update.
The Touch Pro 2 isn't much different, Verizon and T-Mobile had the official update for a while now, and we're now finally just TALKING about getting the official update.

And of course our Android devices are outdated by several versions now and no solid release date when we'll get those updates either.
