Thumbs up Mighty Rom now does Treo Pro!!!

Thought I'd let you Treo Pro owners know that one of the premier rom makers for HTC Touch Pro's & Diamond has now made a rom for your phone. If you try it out, let other Treo Pro owner know the pluses/minuses of the rom. Also post on the mighty rom site any issues and he'll fix them in his next rom for the phone.

    Here's the direct link... Enjoy!!!

"The MightyROM series will be adding a new device to its lineup. The Palm Treo Pro is somewhat of an underdog device and quite frankly, barely anyone even uses it anymore. One thing you can’t disagree with is that it’s one of the ONLY recent device still sporting front facing qwerty + touchscreen goodness!

I’ve picked up the phone mainly for a second device to use when I am primarily cooking for the Touch Pro 2 series roms. Having this device will definitely reduce my load when it comes to developing roms on my primary device when waiting for phone calls, texts, etc.

I have completed a full blown 6.5 ROM for the Palm Treo Pro. It will under go testing starting tomorrow. The sub pages throughout the site should slowly come alive in the next few days and evident ally the phone will become apart of the MightyROM Official line-up!

More details to follow in the coming days, including build logs, release notes, and more!"

People still own it that want winmo 6.5 so i think it's great. They don't make TP1 anymore either but people are still making roms for them. I think it's great. I'm not surprised by this move as the Treo Pro was made by HTC.

It should be pointed out that this is a CDMA ROM and will not work on a GSM Treo Pro.

Good catch. All should be informed of that shortfall.
