    i know this is off topic but if i buy or own a 3GS with a 2yr. contract,
    can i call in att using a different non-smartphone give them the IMEI and get the data plan off??

    Even Aws is mostly in areas which use cellular. So it just makes sense to add 1700 to all phones.

    So I think I'm getting throttled. I'm on a grandfathered Cingular data plan ($8?) and my download speeds on 3G have been terrible:

    i have no idea why or how they would even throttle your speeds. are you sure your access point settings are correct? is it using the proxy perhaps?

    His wifi speed seems to be fine to me, its 2.5Mbps and 3Mbps.
    Or am i missing something here?
