AT&T LTE is live on the site at M53 and M90. 5MHz Band 2. Mapped on Sensorly.

    Northern Michigan?

I had a feeling they were going to use B2 there being so close to county boarders where there's no B17 spectrum or B4 spectrum and their cellular spectrum is on the other band.

Why else would they use B2 on such a rural site?

Also, B2 LTE on the site on M24 and Castle Rd. 1900 LTE has incredible propagation. Full coverage on M90 from 53 to 24. None of my coverage On Sensorly is showing up yet.

Also, it appears the site on M24 and M46 is on Enet.

Well you'd be picking up that site on Lake Pleasant Rd. between 24 and 53 wouldn't you?

Looks like Lapeer County is 100% covered. Good news.

I don't think all of Lapeer county is covered yet. There is still a "4G" tower near Lake Pleasant Rd just north of I-69. 4G from that tower kicks you off LTE while on 53 between Bowers and Shaw Rds.

I mapped M90 from 53 to 24 while that tower on Lake Pleasant/Swoish roads was running LTE and coverage dropped off just west of North Branch. Now, min 2 bars all the way to M24. The B2 LTE from Castle road carries all the way into Mayville then drops off. Same with M90/53, LTE carries 2 miles north of Marlette which is amazing.

Disappointing to see that AT&T hasn't really made any progress in NE lower MI. The site west of Hillman is still E and all sites are still running B5 UMTS with no sign of B2 H+. It appears Lewiston may be on Ethernet, but no HSPA+ yet.

We just got LTE in my town of Dowagiac in southwest Michigan about a month ago. I was actually surprised and didn't think it would last for some reason.

Looks like AT&T updated their map and LTE coverage now shows up in northern Lapeer County. Looks like there is only a site or two left in that county to go. The site north of 69 on Lake Pleasant as per 10mm. Maybe that is the only one left. Can't believe they'd skip that site being right next to the interstate.

Yeh that new LTE coverage isn't quite right in Lapeer County. The actual new coverage from the sites at M53/M90, Lake Pleasant/Swoish roads, M53/Clear Lake road, and M24/Castle road should extend out closer to M46 although your device will connect to "4G" from the towers that are along that line. The site in Yale has LTE, as does the one west of Yale on Capac/Norman roads.

I wonder if AT&T's LTE coverage will be as robust as their Voice coverage that's depicted on the map?

The nationwide map is starting to fill in.

The site on I-75 at Birch Run is running 10 MHz B4 along with 5 MHz B17. I wonder if AT&T is using C.A. on that site?

Nope. CA is not yet active on any Alcatel-Lucent sites. Waiting on a software upgrade, I hear.

Cool. I wonder if they will turn it up on all sites when they let the update loose? Bands 17/4 and 17/2......in areas where they have the spectrum of course.

I hear the plan is to enable it on all dual-band sites as soon as the software is released. Should happen very soon, I believe.

These are pics of the Sebewaing and Bad Axe panels that were just put up last year. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like they will need to be replaced, unless they can put RRUs on these.

Looks like they'll need to add an additional panel and an RRU for that new panel on both sites pictured. Only TMA's are mounted on the antennas in both pics (which are used for UMTS).
Your results may vary. Network performance differs per user location.
