Hey big thanks guys. Thanks to this thread i called rogers. I now save 30% on all 3 items.

Now the big question. Do you still get the 15% bundled discount? I didnt have the balls to ask.

No bundle discount on top unfortunately.

"How much notice do I have to give to cancel all my Rogers services?"
"May I ask why you want to cancel?"
"Bell has a great deal for me to move all my services"
"Would you consider staying if we came close to their deal?"
    "Yes, I'd consider it"

    30% off internet
20% off cable + free rental or 30% off cable if you own a box
    $5-$10 credit/month off home phone
    Wireless varies

Ask the rep to breakdown the discount on each service, otherwise they'll just tell you the overall monthly cost & you don't know if they're discounting all the services

Forgot to mention that if they give you those retention deals, then you lose the 15% bundle discount (the retention deals are much better anyway)

We currently have our home phone, digital TV (non-HD), and internet (Extreme Plus) comes up to around 125 before taxes and the overage fees for going over the BW cap.

I called (threatening to cancel) and managed to get 20% off everything about a week ago. We've been with Rogers for 16 years now (going on 17)... Any idea what else I can get out of them? More specifically how?

    Appreciate any tips!

    Hey,

I hardcore need some help, my cell is w/ Bell and I have an amazing deal but up until recently the Home Services was not handled by me. I hardcore think i'm getting screwed and not in the good way! Here's my bill info.

    Internet
Express + modem rental comes (pre HST) which includes a 15% BCB $45.33

    Home Phone
    Value Plan Classic $45.55

    Cable TV
Extended Basic (really old plan goes from 2-60 something) includes BCB @ 15% $55.06

So basically the monthly bill is $150 after taxes (post HST).

Don't have a Digital box either although i called in last week and the guy was like well it would be a difference of a dollar between the plans... well yeah but then there's the $2.99 digital charge and the $4.50 box rental so it works out to be around $10 bucks more to get a digital box.

That averages to $50 per service.... and some of the deals i'm seeing on here are frigging amazing. I'm not longer under contract, although the guy i got seemed confused by everything i guess b/c the plan was old. He said that when we get the 15% BCB it automatically renews our contract for 2 eyars although he then confirmed that we were no longer under contract.... so any advice to getting a better deal on these services would be great.

I'm not hard set on gettign a digital box, just b/c it's an extra cost and to be honest i don't PVR, but having the 3 additional outlets is awesome b/c that means we can have 4 TV's connected although only one would have the interactive guide i think...

    Help!

    See Above Note!

Spoke to a guy today but sadly had to run into a meeting so I couldn't confirm a lot of details.

I think he was offering me just a regular digital box with new pricing for my services

    Cable 42.52
    Internet 45.40
    Phone 37.84

He said the total taxes in was around 120-125 and i'm not sure how he got that and what amount of discounts he was applying to the account. What says the forum?
