How do you check for water damage for SH906i

Hi, I purchased a sh906i 2 months ago and its been in the box since yesterday because of a hypersim problem. Anyways, I was swapping out my sim card to my xperia and i noticed on the sh906i water marker had red spots on it. Does that indicate that is water damaged.. or is it fine??

If it's solid red then you have issues...if not it's all like that.

    It's all good (^_^)

Dots on a white background indicate it is okay.

The redder the background, the more water damage done.

If its completely red, then the phone is screwed ):

Or, maybe just indicator has a problem. The indicator can be affected by humidity or weather as well.

The red dots are normal. They prevent you from being able to just repaint the indicator white with white-out after you drop the phone in the water.
