I wonder if they actually made an effort to go through notes for people who were offered the plan and see if they were mistakenly told it was a non-zone plan. Good job if they actually did that.
You can confirm if you are on a zone or non-zone plan by pressing *#123# on your phone.
If you get a message "On the fido network - within your zone" you are on a zone plan.
If you get an error message along the lines of "No tarrif info available", that's actually good and means you are on a non-zone plan.
