It sure would be nice if there were a web site somewhere that kept track of the uptime figures for the Big 4's Mobile Broadband services. I sure would have liked to have saved $500 over 2 years by going with T-Mobile's 4G network instead of Verizon's 3G service.

$40/month for T-Mobile's 4G mobile broadband versus $60/month for Verizon's 3G. That's a $500 difference over 2 years. As it was, I was scared of the unknown uptime from T-Mobile so I've been with Verizon MVNO GroupAccess, and now I'm with Verizon.

Virgin Mobile now has unlimited internet using a USB dongle for $40 a month. No contract. Uses Sprints EVDO revA. Just a thought. I've used it and works rather well depending upon where I'm at. Haven't been to St. Luis using Virgin's network. Other, please chime in...

IIRC, Sprint's $50/month 4G service is unlimited and T-Mobile's $40 4G service is also unlmited, iirc.
