That is the phone i want, but with 2.x and multitouch, hopefully SE can make that happen at some point in time. This phone prob has the best camera for Android that I can think of atm:

Being an SE fan, I'm glad SE is getting a product like this on a carrier in the states.

I thought the non multi-touch issue was hardware related? (Or has that been determined to be software related???)

It was hardware related, so there will be no MT on the x10. unless they changed the hardware on the US model (which you know is so improbable.

There were news articles out there after the "hardware limitation" articles that said it could get multitouch. And for some reason i have a hard time believing that someone would be making capacitive touchscreens that were not multitouch capable.

Back to the hardware comment.....might that fall inline with "The Droid by Motorola doesn’t have [the] hardware to support a Mobile Hotspot.t" statement...but yet people do that all the time with it?

It looks like a nice phone except for the wait for 2.1. I don't see any discussion if it will be able to go to 2.2 or 3.0. The camera sounds nice and sony phones are usually very good with music and have decent reception. How big a deal is the non multi touch?

The X10 and the Dell Streak belong in remedial OS class together. 1.6 is disappointing.

The multi touch is not a huge deal in general except for the keyboard (and maybe games). I haven't tried the X10 but I've seen some phones ignore overlapping inputs when you type quickly with two thumbs and don't quite let go of one letter while hitting the next, dropping one of the letters.

Is SonyStyle store like Apple in the sense they can sell you a phone with contract upgrades? Thanks.

Too late unless you are a diehard SE fan, Captivate is better out the box besides the camera. I wanted the X10 last year, now I will wait for the next SE phone while using the Captivate.

The same problem will probably repeat again, by the time the next great SE phone comes out, Samsung or HTC will have something better.

Except this time, SE directly came out and said MT was a hardware issue. What benefit to AT&T or SE does it have for them to lie about this?

Anyone pick this up today? I'm curious how much bloat AT&T put on the phone in terms of apps -
I want to buy your Nokia E7.
