Looking for a 13.3" Laptop, Great Battery and Powerful!

Hello, I'm looking for a new laptop, it must be around 13.3" (not more than 4 lbs).. I also need a powerful battery, around 6-7 real hours of work at least. The computer is only going to do 2 main things, Mozilla + outlook, but I use it a lot, lots of open windows and lots of heavy emails so I do need it to be quite strong.

Budget? around 600-800 bucks, a few people recommended on the Asus UL30a, but I think that the processor might be a bit problematic, 1.3 GHZ... not too powerful, should I look for an I5 or 7?

What do you guys think? anyone with experience with the Asus UL30a?
Any other suggestions that can be good for my needs?

    Thank you.

If I were buying a 13.3" or 14" laptop today, it most certainly would be a Samsung QX series. They just were announced a few weeks ago and although it might be a bit more than you'd like to spend, it looks like a solid machine.

Although, I have a few friends with CULV laptops, a la the UL30a, and they have had no issues using it for email/web browsing, skype, etc.

Thank you, what's so special about this Samsung?
If it was just announced it might be more expensive just because of that - comparing to a few months from now.
CULV Computers work great with email/web browsing, no doubt. The question is how is this one specifically? Everything including the reviews are good, its just that the processor worries me a lot.

    Thanks again!

I know some people don't like Dell but I have an XPS 13 that has the 9 cell battery and I get about 4-5 hours depending on the power mode. I think they are going a little over your budget though.

Toshibadirect.com has got some decent deals on 13.3 inch laptops with Intel I3 processor.

What do you say about I3 processors in general? good enough for basic fast use?

This Asus is now on sale for less than $600, I think I'll go for it. Any other ideas?
