    F-04b help...

Hi, my friend just bought a F-04b from Hong Kong. It was working fine in Hong Kong until she bought it back to Toronto. She uses Rogers. The phone is completely locked. She can't get into any of the functions. She can get into the menu, but it starts beeping after that. It tells her to go on a site.

Even when she turns on the phone it starts beeping, what does that mean? Does it mean she needs another hypersim? I beleive she has one of those up to date sim cards. I tried telling her to change the phone to GSM and not 3G but she can't since she can't access any of the menu

    her sim card reads:

    89302
    72040
    00777
    23596
    u0.2

The only beeping I ever had was due to low battery and my F-04B has never locked on me before. Check the battery, start without a SIM and see if its alright.

my friend told me she tried it with a 3030 card from a friend. That seems to work but it can't connect to a service provider "hoon oi". The characters that require CPR. So, does that mean its her sim card problem? Does that also mean 3030 card is not stable for the phone?
