San Fransisco I'm apart of the MORESIGNAL/Cel-Fi trial!

Just got this email and called in & had it ordered , The rep seemed to be extremely happy with this device.
    Dear T-Mobile Customer,

We have reviewed your recent coverage concern, and you may qualify to be part of a free, in-home device trial! The device is designed to boost 3G signal inside your home. We look forward to speaking with you regarding your eligibility. Please call us at 1-877-XXX-XXXX for details!

Please do not reply to this e-mail. If you have questions, please call us at 1-877-XXX-XXXX.

Apparently this is a limited trial of only 1000 users. Anyone else get this?
    Bye!

    Darn, I'm jealous.

I've only heard about this promo via HoFo. Glad to see that someone here got it because I'm really curious as to how it works.

Awesome. Yep I've not read one other blog site yet... not BGR, not Mobile Engadget, not any other blog either. I could be wrong but I read most of the main mobile industry sites daily and I've heard nothing.

Kies: Please give us HoFo subs a nice review of the product.

There is no point in changing the title, it doesn't work

Anyway, I'll try. My neighborhood's 3G reception probably isn't the best to use with just a repeater so if it doesn't work here I'll test it out somewhere else.

I know, I hate not being able to edit the title on HoFo! Keep up informed on how it works out, I'd love to have one here as T-Mobile's signal is weak inside of our house, and we are still 2G in this area.

I can edit the title but it will not change. It doesn't work for GSM, it's a WCDMA only repeater so it's not going to help you.

I have an AT&T MicroCell and it's 3G only, and it works here. I take it this is not a FemtoCell? They need to get one that works like AT&T's, are they planning on one?

I hope this doesn't mean the end of UMA, considering how few devices even use it.

No, they just want to diversify their options for people that don't have a UMA phone or broadband, that would be one good reason to have this repeater when they've already got UMA/WiFi calling.

    I don't think so.
T-Mobile is about to launch wifi calling on Android, and I wish it'll be released to public because I don't want to buy ANY branded phone anymore.
