I've seen some anomalies on Signal Check but overall a great app. Good catch though.

I know. 10 MHz is the widest they can go anywhere up here. They still have J block and B5 which are running on surrounding sites. This one is a mini flagpole site in the midst of a bunch of stores close to I-75. I've know that this one has been bad for a while and was hoping to catch B48.

This is a small cell a little over a mile away. Big difference.

3 bars on VZW, no data:

The location of the speed test (white dot) is a residential area with hilly terrain blocking the sites to the east and west. The serving cell site is on a mountaintop nearly 3 miles to the northwest:

This is at work in Roanoke Va near the I-581 and 460. For some reason I can pull these speeds all day no matter how busy anything is.

How’d you access that service mode screen?

When coming back to Verizon I knew to expect some congestion but I wasn’t expecting this...I believe this is due to the power outages in my area.

Dang that’s better then what I normally get. Most of my tests don’t go through in the places that that are congested.

    Nice boost there.

Yes, exactly like your 1st pic. The only plus for Verizon is that they have better coverage in my area

The reason I switched back to Verizon from AT&T is because they have a much more dense network in my area. They’re also investing on the network with small cells all over the place here

Around here Verizon hasn’t done anything really. They added 3 small cells that I know of and speeds are still going down from when I was last with them 3 years ago. I am also note too far from Verizon’s most congested tower in the state.

How do I know that’s Verizon’s most congested tower? They’ve told us that. They have been trying to find land for a new one to take the load off.
