Is it possible to switch to these plans if you're on, for example, the $25 Always Shout 1 Year plan?

So are they going to allow existing customers to switch? If it's the same old deal, then they're just going to be doing a lot of porting in and out.

So they are basically price-matching Mobilcity's current deal.

    You're kidding, right?

This would be enough for me to switch from Mobilicity.

It makes me a little sad, because Mobilicity's only advantage is their insanely competitive price - I feel like this will be the death of them.

Currently I have $25 lifetime Always Shout + $20 BlackBerry data. It sounds like it'd be worth it for ME to switch to the $40 plan!

I don't think Wind has ever distinguished between BIS and non-BIS data plans have they?

If it's just new customers, which it most likely is, I may have to cancel my current plan and lose my old number to get this deal or port in and out headache. This will definitely get a few of my friends onto Wind as they were considering Mobilicity.
Wind September 2010 - December 2011 (Loved the data and the service when it worked... a lot of times it did not.) + customer service was bad to me + dropped calls when talking to 611
Chatr December 2011 - January 2012 (Problems from day 1) ... Guess there is no perfect provider.
Virgin January 2012 - January 2015 - let's hope the customer service from Virgin doesn't drop calls while I call them like Wind did.
