turn it off and remove the battery, although the setting with the date/ time will reset too.. then leave it for a while.
that happens to me although i have another smartphone, i still have my palm 750 and i like it, specially the texting, its just like you're on a thread.

have you ever dropped or somehow accidentally banged the phone? 'coz some how the OS won't load. Do you see the bar progressing when the "Palm" loads? 'coz after that, the OS will show, Windows Mobile then your info ...

can you try to have the phone plug to the power adapter and see if that makes any difference?

that sounds not right... it seems the memory is still accessible. the progress bar will only show if the OS is trying to load. Have u gone to any service center of Palm or call their tech support?

try giving them a call and see what options before heading to a cellphone technicians and have the memory checked.. that will cost you few bucks with techs diagnostic test..

although i seldom recommend the hard reset, if you are willing to take that route, you can, but just to let you know.. there are so many settings that may not be easily restored.. including the internet connection, bluetooth, check this link

but then again, hard reset is normally the last option that you can do.. unless you dont want to spend as it is, then try with the hard reset. just make sure you have the settings like your connection settings, for the WAP server, IP address and all.
