I'm really sorry wlo8, the x10 from cingular at&t keeps coming back negative...the only to get these ones from at&t unlocked is via software or through the Sony Ericsson Manufacturer method which is a little bit pricey (39.99) if you have another phone PM me please

I suppose I could at least describe how it worked on the Bravo.

(This phone has motoblur, so the phone had a technical "wedgie" due to programmer stupidity - I couldn't sign into motoblur due to the phone's date being off from no recent use. But I didn't want to stick a no data plan AT&T SIM into the phone, due to the gross data overages which would occur. So I needed to unlock and then use a roaming SIM which would not burn up a lot of data charges.)

I put my O2 (UK) prepaid SIM into the phone. I turned it on, and had the ordinary motoblur signin option and also a SIM unlock option (I forget the exact name). I selected the unlock option and was presented with a simple prompt to enter the unlock code and two buttons to either unlock or cancel. I entered the unlock code from Cellunlocker.net, pressed the unlock button, and voila! an unlocked phone. The phone registered to the network, the time updated, and I could proceed to log in to motoblur.

It should be noted that, like on other Android password fields, the password input disappears as you input it. Since we are talking about a 16 digit number I decided to input each digit slowly and move my cursor through the code received as I input it. That reduced my stress about making an undetected error, although it was fine the first time.
