    Customers taking pictures

Are customers allowed to take pictures of us in the store? It's not public property so I assume no?

Ultimately, it is manager discretion but Loss Prevention has MANY rules set out for Rogers Retail AND Dealer stores, and pictures in the store is one of them.

What if they took a picture of me with his equipment on the counter. He wants that as proof because he doesn't want to wait for his receipt. I didn't give him permission to take my picture but he said "too late" then walks out the door.

Tell them they will be charged for their equipment and they need to remain in-store to have it removed from their account. If they leave, make sure you charge them for anything that is missing (remotes, power cords). Document their account that they abandoned equipment at your store without a receipt. If you can't take their equipment off their account due to pending non-pay call them, note it on the return sticker and send it back to the warehouse ... Unfortunately it isn't always the account holder that's returning the equipment and some people are just impatient. I don't think Rogers would ever consider a picture as proof that equipment has been returned as a picture doesn't show serial numbers of the equipment. For pictures of you, consult your manager/retailweb like world mentioned.

Documentation (for Plus stores at least) requires a copy of the refund receipt attached in order for it to be sent to DC601. Tell your manager.
