I will never buy an HTC ever again! (two broke within 4 years, which were well taken care of)

1.58/0.85 = excellent speed if it'd been done here.

I live in an old 1940's double bricked home where reception has in the past been lacking. In the last couple of years the reception has improved so much that I can make and receive calls and have reasonable data speeds too all over the upper levels of my home except in the basement. That is until a couple of days ago when I noticed I was showing a full 5 bars rather than the usual 0. Today I ran a test in the basement in an area furthest away from windows and such. This is the result:

Oh, that was posted from the same area of the basement too. Anyone else seeing these kinds of improvements in Toronto?

It might have to do with the new tower at Warden Ave & Firvalley Crt. Depending on where you live that new tower might reach your home better or the existing towers may have been adjusted when with the installation of the new tower.

I think that tower has been active for a while, a couple of years perhaps? So I'm guessing some maintenance took place recently. Either way, I'm very happy to have service in the basement where I have an office. No more leaning my phone against a window to get the faintest of signals!

Same location as last test; inside my 1940s double bricked house, this time in the centre of the main level (Pharmacy/Danforth). I'm loving this!

Mississauga, Ontario. I had to reboot my phone to even run this speed test. I was getting well under 1 Mbps before rebooting.
