    Lightbulb Moving to Bell?

I've been a Roger wireless customer for years, but am considering switching to Bell in order to upgrade my phone to the new Samsung Galaxy SII. However I have a good contract with Rogers, and none of the currently advertised promotions provide a better deal than what I have now. So question to you Bell folks out there: How does Bell entice customers with retention plans? And how should I approach Bell in order to get the best possible deal? Thanks!

    Is that your plan?:

    750 anytime minutes
    100 long distance minutes
    voicemail/call-id/call waiting
    500 mb data

    $65.00 all in.
    ?

Also are you moving in just one line? Or do you have a spouse you can move over too?

If so it depends on your usage also it depends on where you are. There's some very good deals for specific provinces for data devices.

Main thing you'd want to try to get add is the free call display and voicemail. If you can get those included everything else is easy.

I'm assuming u also have Early evenings/weekends as well. If not, this is not a good plan. I think even with it, u're still paying alot.

If u want to still stay with Rogers, I can help u.
    Hit me a PM.

If its only for Galaxy S2, then u shud first try to bring ur costs down from Rogers......before moving to Bell.

I also contacted Bell re. matching or even coming close to my Fido plan. They wouldn't budge though.

I asked if they had unlimited texts. As in unlimited incoming and outgoing local, long distance and international text. Same applies with MMS and video messages. They said they don't have such plan, not even in their retention dept. Fido offers me that for free!

Virgin offers ace plans, but they don't have Motorola's
