Seems it'll be over 600 Euro, typical old Nokia prices. I'll be more interested when it drops to the more reasonable 300.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband.

Don't send me PMs for questions that can be asked publicly.

It's probably cheaper to buy here in the US if www.nokia.com US carries it.

Well since there's no US site, your best bet will be amazon, newegg, and ebay when it is available in the US. Who knows when it will hit stateside? I'm not good at those predictions lol. Sometimes it's the same time, others its within a month.... or a few months. I assume they want it here before the end of the year and before sea ray releases. Maybe october?

Admittedly, over 600 Euro is likely including VAT, so it'll probably be roughly the same in the US pre-tax.

Officially Nokia won't be releasing these in NA or even in the UK. Personally a really big mistake, as i would love to get my hands on one and have it actually be covered under warranty... Nokia is making it damn hard these days to stay a fan when they make retarded decisions like these.

    iPhone 3G - reception problems
    iPhone 3GS - battery problems
iPhone 4 - reception problems that haven't been fixed, a poor design that leads to the device dropping more than most other devices AND more prone to breaking if dropped

The last 3 phones they've put out have had serious problems that affect their usability as phones. That's why not pick up an iPhone.

I definitely won't pay 890... or even 600-700. I will wait for price drops. The $500 mark is the sweet spot for me. I will have to wait obviously and I have no problem with that since I've already waited enough haha. Maybe I may get the urge and splurge this winter if I feel.

I'm definitely going to look into pricing while I am over there. I'll be there around the release so if I have the time and the price is right I may pick up. I'm not too worried about the warranty as I have plenty of family there that I could send the phone to for Warranty claims.

So importing is going to be the only way to get it over here. Seems like nokia only wants wp7 devices in NA. My dad is passing through UAE on his way to Asia in September. I wonder if it will be available by then, maybe I can have him pick it up for me.
