Hey
Can I port number to existing account?
I already have Mobilicity account with a different number, and I want to port my number from Fido to my account, basically, change my number.....
Is it possible?

My understanding is that it is possible but you'll have to pay for a new sim card and you can't keep your current plan if it's no longer offered (ie F&F). Basically, they close your current account and open a new one with a new phone number that you ported in.
So there is absolute no way at all?
I will have to create a new account with that number I want to port in??
Yes! You can absolutely port an additional line to the same account! In fact, if you have two regularly offered plans, you will save $5!
Managed to get Mobilicity to act and improve on 4 items.![]()
to an existing account: yes
to an existing line: no - impossible because of the sillly way that Mobilicity has set up the billing/account system
You can port in a number into your existing account BUT it is treated by Mobilicity as a new phone line activation. Your ported in number doesn't replace your current Mobilicity number. A second number is simply added to the account. You can then choose to keep both lines or get rid of one of them. As with any new line activation, you can only choose from currently offered plans. You will need to buy a new sim card.
Mobile has the $40 everything promo right now. So maybe all these discussions don't matter

Ok, theres one problem tho.
I have already paid multi month for 1 year, and I have about 5 months left on that.
So cancelling this account, and then waiting for my refund for 8 weeks, and then opening another account....would be alot of effort?
No, you keep the same account, get another line, transfer the balance and close the old line.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband.
Don't send me PMs for questions that can be asked publicly.
Oh, so I sign up for another line under my existing account, and then transfer my balance from my current mobilicity account to the new mobilicity account and then close my current account?
How do I know how much balance I have right now? It shows nothing in mywallet.....just shows how much I paid in total for 12months in my account....
