I wouldn't be too concerned about that, I'm sure that's the one thing that will be fine on it.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband.

Although I've sworn never to do business with them again, SN Traders will most likely get the N9 and sell it for some astronomical price. Thank goodness I live a block away from Pacific Mall

Seems like they are finally starting to roll out in stores over these next few weeks. Anyone importing or just waiting for prices to drop?

I'm gonna wait for the price to drop. I really want a blue one, It looks like they are not releasing that one in Mexico.

Wait for the price to drop? From what I gather they are making a limited number of these, I am just waiting for a full review, before I decide if I should get it or not.

It's not so much the fact that it's a limited number but rather a limited release. It just won't be available everywhere. Prices will eventually drop but you will only see it months down the road, and it's not like there will be weekly random price fluctuations like we've had with Nokia devices for sale on Amazon. But prices will still fall over time, just not as fast as we have seen. I think the demand for this device is really high (unless reviews are terrible) so we'll see retail prices for a while.

And yeah, I will wait for the reviews to pile in to see if it is worth it for me. I want a 64gb but know I can get by on a 16gb if I have to. The price difference between the two isn't that much though so I will aim for a 64gb. At first I really only wanted a black 64gb, but after seeing videos I am liking the blue as well (but I think it only comes in 16gb?).

Well, I played with black N9 today a little and i can say that it feels very good in hand. I didn't go though menus etc etc, swiping probably needs some getting used to it.

When i asked how much, salesman told me i can't buy it unless i preordered it earlier (they had like 20 in stock) and i didn't. He told me if i want it i should preorder too, may be in 2 weeks they will have some more..
Also he said that Nokia supplied only 4 000 units in Russia, but there will be may be more, or may be not.
    4000 is nothing.

Before you set anything up make sure that you have a connection to the internet, and set up your nokia account via the n9 start up screen, if you don't none of the services will work right after that and the only way to fix it is a hard reset.

Yep, must have your ovi account and wifi/internet ready when you first turn it on. Can't get into the Nokia account, maps, etc if you don't and must do a reset.
