    MetroPCS Easy Wifi

Does anyone know how to disable it so that the annoying icon won't appear in the notifications all the time?

if you do not want to be notified of available open networks, you can go into the Easy Wi-Fi settings and turn that feature off.

Personally I like it. wi-fi is much faster than 1x CDMA . or even capped EVDO CDMA.

I am also have a problem with metropcs easy wifi, it keeps knocking me out of my home and work wifi connections. and i can't even get to the settings, when i try to open the app it shows me a blank screen with "trying to connect" message that never stops
and i can't root and remove because the software is awol and the drivers for my phone won't work, it keeps reading as floppy drive A: but i don't have a floppy drive!
