There is one other addition to the Loxcel cell tower map:
* 5MHz and 10MHz filters - let you search for higher-bandwidth sites, like 4G, LTE, etc.
(As of 1-Mar-2012, there are no antenna with 20MHz bandwidth in Canada.)
Thanks

The Loxcel map received a few minor updates today:
1. Works better on IE8
2. Small visual improvements on smartphone
3. antenna counts reduced to reflect physical antennas and not separate counts for receiver / transmitters
Thanks

It's very difficult to do that, because:
UMTS/HSPA sites uses 5MHz carriers, but there are dual-carrier HSPA sites use 10MHz.
LTE sites are currently using 10MHz, but can use 1.4MHz, 3MHz, 5MHz, 10MHz, 15MHz or 20MHz.
I'm not really sure about GSM, as I don't know much about it.
Thanks for the update, at least it helps us narrow down the technologies a little![]()
