    Nokia N9 PR1.2 is Out

PR1.2 is out. I received it for my Finnish handset, but not my Australia one. I can't see any changes from the N950's PR1.2.

Well as an FYI to everyone do not run the N9Tweaks app after upgrading!

I did without checking compatibility and screwed some things up. It isn't anything that can't be fixed but it is a headache you can avoid.

I updated mine. Pretty zippy now and feels like its in turbo mode. Some programs just open right up with no delay

Overall it is a pretty good update. I know some people have had issues with PR1.2 but I haven't seen any (other than the goof I described above).

Is it just me or did they do something to the image processing of the camera? For some reason photos seem less washed out. Who knows maybe I just got used to the pictures the N9 produces...

The line spacing in the email, messages, and feed is really bad with 1.2. It literally feels like I'm reading double spaced text. Is there any way to go back to the old line spacing?

I already forgot since I only had 1.1 for 5 days, but isn't the text better now? fit more text or something? That's what I first thought, more info fit on the screen.

No, they made the line spacing bigger, so you get fewer lines and less information on screen at a time. Also makes it a lot harder to differentiate between a new line and a paragraph, at least from what I've seen in Feeds.

It really was a poor decision on Nokia's part to do it this way; if they needed more room for foreign scripts they should have just increased the line height for them.

Yes and no. They added "support" for video calling. This means that a anyone can write software to use it but there is no native video calling application in PR1.2.
