How do I refill from my phone with a Walmart $45 service card?

I spent the $45 at Walmart got the card, scratched the number and called Straightalk's 611 and 800 # but keep getting the Straightalk operator. I want to refill to reserve on my own from the phone, not talk to their representative and give my service pin over the phone.

Do I need to register my number on their website inorder to be able to refill on my own?

Don't know about doing it from the phone, because I have always done online. If you set up an account on ST website, you can easily enter the number from the card, and it will add the time to your reserve.
