Yeah, the Optimus G and Nexus 4 don't seem as cutting as they would have been a few months ago.
With the Note 2, and HTC 1080p out soon, then Galaxy 4 next summer......

The G is such a great handset, tragic that it has no SD support. And it's absurd to make a Nexus with those specs at 16GB max storage -- even 32GB wouldn't cut it -- and have no external option. This SD-less design is too far off the trend to be stupidity -- Google isn't dumb -- it has to be a calculated move with an ulterior motive.

They're enough for me, and I don't see how it's NOT cutting edge. Aside from the huge screen, I fail to see how the Note 2 is a more advanced phone. It has A9 chips ...which is a generation behind the S4 pro, pentile, and a 720p screen. Assuming the devs can unlock it, the Optimus is a great phone. 1080p would be nice though.

SD support.
Pretty sure that this will be the phone that will (finally!) replace my Thunderbolt. Well, unless the battery life is pitiful and I'll go for the RAZR MAXX HD. I will never buy another HTC device and the DNA is too big anyway.
I wonder if the Blaze's unsubbed pricing will be the same as the Sprint version ($550)?
1mm.
The DNA is 1mm wider in your hand than the Blaze.
Yeah. Way too big. That's huge!
The 1 mm is a dealbreaker?
No, I think the battery issue is the deal-breaker for him. He needs an S3 with a 4amp aftermarket removable one.
Does this phone even exist anymore?

Not released until after DNA and Note II?
This just feels like the same crap vzw pulled last holiday season with the GNex and the D4. Delay and ignore until the bloom is off the rose and there's no excitement anymore. Meanwhile -- PUSH the RAZRs.
Isn't the d4 a Droid which usually is hyped, although not as much now as a Razr. I have the same view of the Note II, Verizon is in no hurry to release it.
I think the DNA is Verizon's "special child" this season. Why pitch the RAZRs, and the Note II if people are more likely to go over their data cap with the DNA? And since Google owns Moto now, I really doubt they need Verizon exclusivity as much now.
Besides, most of the current RAZR commercials (especially the RAZR M) fail to mention the Droid part of the phone.

Picky. Picky. OK Blaze then. The point was that vzw has it's own agenda (literally) and if your cherished ideal handset isn't a priority, then it's of no importance at all how ready the *phone* is for release, you'll just have to wait because the only thing that matters is when vzw is ready to release it.
The D4 was scheduled for October, I think, then pushed back to Black Friday. It was actually shipped to stores in early December -- and shipped back again! I guess the ultimate release came in February?
As for the GNex, maybe this is still up?
