Change Regular SIM Card to Micro SIM Card : T-Mobile Prepaid

Hi,

I have an existing T-Mobile 30 dollar Prepaid Plan and have a HTC Incredible Phone using a regular SIM Card.
I recently got an Samsung Galaxy S3 Unclocked Phone which uses a "Micro SIM" Card.

I went to T-mobile website and purchased a Prepaid activation Kit for 99 cents which has the Micro SIM Card.

Once I receive the Micro SIM Card, how do I tell T-Mobile or activate this new Micro SIM Card to replace my regular SIM Card? I dont want to loose my 30 dollar 5GB 100 minutes plan and also want to keep my existing number.

I am afraid that the activation kit will assign me a new number or consider it as a new account.
I purchased it just for the micro sim card.

please advise.

If you already are on the $30/mo 5gb plan, I would just go to store and have them swap the sim. Works for me everytime.

But if the new sim is giving the plan you want, it won't work.

Also, activation kits are for activations, not sim swap.
