I was able to get root on the Samsung galaxy Axiom by decompressing the stock ROM and injecting the supersu binary into the system.img.ext4, re-compressing as a tar file in Linux and then flashing with Odin. I'd post my odin file but its over 900MBs and that's a huge download for root. The method used does raise the flash counter, but triangleaway should be compatible with the Axiom soon.
I will be spending the next few days tweaking and debloating the stock ROM and upload the finished product.

Very anxious to get a hold of this. Any luck getting it uploaded?
There is a working link over a Team US Cellular. They are having issues with the mobile site.

Did they add a rooted version? Last time I was on the site they only had the one and it's the stock rom. That one isn't rooted its it? ...Going to be kicking myself if that's been there this whole time.
Edit: Yes, I'm an idiot. The rooted version ssego is posted on TUSC. It's a ways down in the Stock ROM post I mentioned.
Thanks Twisty.

From what I can tell there are no major issues. The one thing I have noticed is my speed dials went from 99 to only 9, which is a little bothersome for me as we normally program employees from their ID number. The other thing is the dialer and in call settings changed from there normal location. I'm not sure why, I compared the software version & kernel number off a stock Axiom and they appear to be identical.
If someone has the ability to pull their Stock Dialer and Contacts it would be much appreciated!

Its odd that anything changed.. all I did was add the SU binary. Maybe the ROM I altered is different from the ROM we had out of the box. My wife's is still bone stock. I'll compare the two and see if I can spot the difference.
Apparently it somewhat common, did a search and it pulls up several phones after root with similar issues.
Don't sweat the small stuff, you did a bang up job getting working root, just wanted to let people know the outcome of the process.
