Possible to drop LG Motion 4G LTE speed to 3G?

Is there a way to manually drop the 4G speed of the phone to 3G?

My home has bad cell phone signal reception. A friend with Metro PCS had full bars on her phone, but my new LG Motion 4G LTE service is picking up no bars in the house.

I'm guessing she didn't have a 4G LTE plan and the 4G LTE signal is harder to pull?

I figure dropping to a 3G signal would help things, as its more ubiquitous. I don't see a way to switch manually between 3G and 4G with this phone.

    Anyone know?

search the play store for a 4G toggle there's a couple available but you probably have to root your phone.

Hey you need to go into your nearest Metropcs corporate store and have them do what is called a NetCare Ticket. You may reside in a 4G dead zone which has a high probability of being easily fixed by MetroPCS's wonderful IT field squad. I work for regional and I have seen many problems like yours and im pretty sure it will be handled right away especially if you in the ga region!

eh all of ya are suggesting complicated methods that may or may not require reboot for changes to take into effect. since the motion is still on ics i would use anycut from there you could find the shortcut to turn off 4g and make it use 3g with a simple touch of a button and without rebooting. ofcourse anycut is kind of hard to find just gotta search for it on googles.

Doesn't work, you have to go through the custom lg menu and they dont require reboots

On the motion when you use anycut to get the shortcut the device information it has a pop up blocking everything that says "this application is not compatible with this device" or something of that manner
