Also, less chance of fakes than Amazon's commingled inventory.

Used my tech recycling rewards from September and October. Also, picked up some hand soap to get the total over $10 and paid about $1.30 with taxes.

I see I'm not the only one who doesn't order "genuine Apple" accessories from Amazon anymore. Sold by and shipped by Amazon doesn't mean anything when they just pile inventory into one big pile w/ 3rd party seller items. I get it from Best Buy when it's on sale. 30% off is a good deal.
Castrol EDGE 0W-20 is my drug of choice.

I mentioned yesterday that when I use cleared browser data Edge to do TF phone buys, along with gmail or Microsoft based emails, for some reason I always get the confirmation email. In addition to that though, I get the shipping email too. Did a buy yesterday and got the confirm and shipping email. Hoping to get today or Monday.

On a completely unrelated note, if you use a Roku player, Roku is having a black friday sale on some of the premium channels it offers like HBO max (ad version) for $1.99 per month for first 3 months, and Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, Epix and a bunch of other channels for 99 cents per month for 2 months cancel at any time.

But there are many posts on Slickdeals from people who did that without problems. My 2nd Fi S22 still has 70 days to go. I am not using it with another provider, but I turned it off on day 3 and put it away. The remaining day counter still counts down each day.
There are some pretty good trade-in deals at Samsung.com for the S22. They are offering $400 allegedly for trading in an S10. I say allegedly because I didn't actually push the "buy" button. Brings the price of a 128GB S22 down to $329 unlocked. Also, you don't need to pay any monthly fees to Google Fi.

If you have an iphone 11 to trade in, you can get the phone for about $60 total including service via Google Fi (is my understanding).

With an S10 it will cost about $275 total I believe.

I checked and Fi gives only $106 for a non-5G 128GB S10. I don't know if that was the exact model that rchang was using for his simulated deal at Samsung.

Yeah i was thinking $299 - $106 = $193 + 4 months = about $100 (w/tx etc) - your free referral month = $275 ish... maybe a little higher with fees so even if $300, the fi deal with its monthly fees is cheaper (I think).

You have to pay sales tax on the $300 price at Fi. Don't know how the Samsung site calculates tax, on the discounted price or the full price.

I just checked the Samsung site. They offer $150 trade-in for an S10. After an Instant Rebate of $75 and the S10 trade-in, the net cost is $574.99. Much more that what it costs with a Fi S22 deal. I like said in another post, Samsung is a master of misleading advertising. They always quote the price after the highest trade-in value possible.

Amazon has the S22 unlocked, 128 Gb for $598.49 cyber Monday deal. I’m hoping to get the flip 4 using a Google Fi deal, but my backup choice is the S22.

That's hardly a good deal. The factory-unlocked Fi 128GB S22 is $300 (after $500 discount) + sales tax + $108 or so for 4 months of Fi service - $20 with a referral code. Total is $415. Trade in something and the cost will be less. Need to port in a number but you can create a GV number for porting in.

    Oh ok. I think it is still cheaper since $300 + tax = $326 (NYC) - $106 trade = $220 + 4 months = $108 = $328 - referral month of $20 = $308 versus the $329 it was thought to be but is actually $500+ at Samsung. If I have that right.

Need my iPhone 11, tho My S10 battery life is dwindling. We'll see what they do next year.

Edit: okay, that's nuts. They are really over valuing an iPhone 11. I tried an 128GB iPhone SE (2nd gen) and got a trade in of $90. A 64GB iPhone 11 is $335. Which means I could swap it for a 256GB S22 for $15 + some months of service. That's crazy. Too bad the 11 is my main phone and not ready to give it up!

Nobody is really giving good trade in for iPhone SE 2020... except the Google store.. I traded an extra one i had and got $230 off the $299 price of a Pixel 6a. Did it in person.

    G is giving $484 for iphone 11 for the $499 pixel 7.

    But $284 on $299 pixel 6a.

Yup. My second iphone 11 is on its way to Google as a basic even swap for the new 7. My first went for the ZFlip4. Adding in an old 5a I also sent I am waiting for over a thousand dollars in credit from Google.... Pushing my luck for sure!
