Galaxy A53 is currently $219.99 with no requirement to buy airtime.

Just placed an order for this and a Moto G Stylus at $99.99 using a reward code. For some reason, the promo code wasn't working while I was logged in via Chrome. So I switched to Edge (which I never use), and the code worked perfectly.

I'm going to purchase 90-day basic cards for $20 each. I will probably activate them immediately, because I want these unlocked anyway in order to sell them eventually.

Net price was $21.73 with tax in California.

Total investment is ~$62 for 20K points, and I'm hoping to sell the phones for ~$250 total.

Considered getting a TCL A3X to keep the total under $300, but it seems like those don't have any significant resale value.

In retrospect, I maybe shoulda got the iPhone 12 Mini at $349, as they're currently selling at over $300 on ebay. Oh well, guess I can't complain.

Hopefully the 10K AAL program sticks around for a while. I may wind up with another 80K points across two accounts. I think I'm already playing with house money.

Funny thing, this is way too much effort to make a few bucks, but it's strangely addictive.

1st iPhone 11 traded to Google Fi evaluated after 8 days, received promised $349 credit towards a $399 ZFlip4 (with port in and four months service). 2nd iPhone 11 traded to Google Store in transit to them, promised $484 credit towards a $499 Pixel 7. And finally, I also traded in a Pixel 5a for a Pixel 6a at exactly even swap (except for tax) -- $299 credit towards a $299 new phone.

So far, so good! Now just trying to decide if to trade in my own 11 for an S22 on Fi, as my newest 12 mini arrives tomorrow.

Glad to hear your trade ins went smoothly! I mailed my iPhone 7 trade in the other day and will be mailing a Pixel 4 trade in next. I’ll cross my fingers that Hyla has their act together.

My iPhone 12 mini will be here on Friday or Monday from TracFone. The package isn’t yet with UPS so the estimated delivery date may change. Then I’ll just have to activate it and wait for it to unlock!

They must have been selling too slowly for them to drop the price by $10 and drop the required airtime purchase.
When the sale went live there was no required airtime purchase... they added it a few hours later.

Wasn't tracking the A13 5G... Has a 720p screen. The regular non-5G A13 has a 1080p screen.

Yes. The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G $219.99 (never $299.99) when it first appeared on 10-20-2022 TF store and has been OOS ever since. ~$169.99 is a more proper price for it. But it'll probably drop down to $150, $130 and eventually $100.

Full HD 1080p 120Hz LCD display and a fairly capable Snapdragon 695 CPU, includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. An alternative to the A53 5G which dropped the headphone jack. I'm waiting for either to drop to ~$100 before buying.

It's worth more at Apple and elsewhere for Trade-ins (in some cases, much more) and has bigger screen and Face ID (but not touch ID) if that is your thing. Good camera, good battery.

At some places, the XR is worth almost as much as the iPhone 11 for trade-in.

I would say skip both refurb iPhone SE2 and XR and wait for refurb iPhone 11 to get back in stock.
Last month I got an almost new iPhone 11, with 11 months 13 days Apple warranty, that was sold as reconditioned
