A municipal government run telecommunications company that offers unlimited services for a great price and makes a profit that returns the investment back to taxpayers to the tune of $20 million per year into city coffers to pay for other municipal services reducing the tax burden. If a small city like Thunder Bay can do it why can't Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, etc...

Thunder Bay (April 28, 2011) – Tbaytel today announced the declaration of a $3.5 million dividend to The City of Thunder Bay payable April 30, 2011. This dividend is comprised of a performance dividend and a special dividend and is in addition to the fixed annual dividend of $17 million. Tbaytel dividends paid to The City of Thunder Bay from 2004 through 2011 will total over $153 million.

@TelecomZombie, do you work for TBaytel? Also, do you have any info on whether TBaytel customers will be able to roam on Rogers' lte network as with the current HSPA network, and vice versa? (i.e. free and seamlessly)

Tbaytel Plan available to anyone in Canada. Plan is available MTM or on 3 years. No quasi stipulations like Bells as to needing to have a TB address.
LTE roaming aggreements are presently beyond my scope.
Even without LTE where can you get a plan with this feature set at $50 with coverage on Canadas LARGEST Network not some cheesy alliance?? 807 and a few 705 area codes only for this plan
