Roam Mobility only $1/day for data?

This was tweeted not long ago but I couldn't find the data for that price on their website.

They changed all plans fairly recently (2 months?)
It is sad I need to state the obvious but some people just don't get it. Any posts I make are my own OPINIONS and in no way represent the views of my employer

Mildly deceptive - what they mean is either that a $29.95/month plan is $1/day, or that talk+text+data plans are priced at $1/day higher than talk+text.

just today i was in unfamiliar area during rush hour. I had Apple Maps, Waze, Beat the Traffic, plus Inrix running. I did some searching on twitter. I chewed up 400+ MB in one hour. Clearly the 100 MB/ day data included isn't for me. lol

Why bother? Wind has a U S add on of $5/mth that gives you (Calling: 10˘/minute Texting: 5˘/text Data: 50˘/MB). It allows you to choose either AT&T or T Mobile when u are in the U S . No Sim change and no nothing at all.

For talk/text sure. But at 50˘/MB that would still really add up.

I hardly had data need when wifi was everywhere (hotel or through the home wifi of local hosts). But if needed Boingo at $10/mth for 2 devices is a good choice

If you say so, but most people looking for a phone data plan have already heard of wifi, and they are asking about real mobile data because they know they'll need it for their use case.

Boingo? That's a wifi plan. Kinda hard to look up traffic info while roaming and pulled up on the side of the freeware.

Also, T-Mobile has a sale on SIMS right now until July 31/2013: $0.99, use SIMSALE as the promo code: http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/p...850#close-cart
