Easy. Waiting on something. Maybe provisions. Maybe a certain time to turn it on for the network. Who knows. Takes time. Just smile now since they at least started.

I'm not going to smile or frown, but the hold up has been long. This is an interstate that was fully covered in metroPCS LTE.
    Bye!

Yep. But can't rush upgrades. Got to be done right.

In my South Texas travels I've yet to see a single TMO 2G/E to LTE site upgrade yet South of Interstate 10, its remained the same for almost 2 years now. And T-mobile has somewhat decent non-roaming GSM service throughout this area.
The ONLY tower I've seen ANY work on is the TMO site in Rockport, Texas, sporting AIR cell panels since January of this year, but still only broadcasting slow 2G/EDGE last time I was through there.

The entire 288 from Houston-Lake Jackson was just about edge only outside of Pearland. Now it's all LTE.

I thought the majority of it already had at least 4G, my dad now works down in that area and he gets 4G and LTE in Lake Jackson.

They turned a lot of it on 3-4 months ago. Past highway 6 was edge/gprs. It's LTE now. I've mapped a trip recently on sensorly.
