A Nokia 6030 I got at Target free with a $100 refill card for $88/$80 maybe 8 years ago when Target used to do that deal. Got it and the refill for $80 because the girl signed me up with the Target RedCard that day.
It still fires up and works fine.
And I am still happily with T-Mobile.
I even brought my brother over to T-Mobile with his 5 line family plan from Verizon about 5 years ago.

I'm new to T-Mobile. I took my ATT Samsung Galaxy S3 (i747) unlocked and flashed it with T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE ROM ( T999L). I really wanted to experience the WiFi calling feature. Tricky business, no doubt. It works great though. A separate issue, i still can't get the S3 to do WB-AMR ( AKA HD-Voice). I think it's the ATT modem of the device.

    Motorola W233 Renew

I'd been thinking about trying out T-Mobile service and I remember being enamored of the Samsung t349 because of its half-QWERTY keypad. But when the Motorola W233 Renew was discounted to $10 at my local T-Mobile store, I couldn't pass up the deal...

Upon seeing it, one of my friends was aghast. "It looks like a toy!" he exclaimed. I would joke that the Renew had feature parity with his iPhone:

    iPhone Renew
    iTunes MP3 Player
    Safari WAP browser
    Apple Mail m.yahoo.com
    Apple App Store Tetris
    3G GPRS

All kidding aside, the specs were out of date (even when it was new), but it was also supposedly the first carbon-neutral phone sold in the U.S. And at that price I was able to try out T-Mobile service on the cheap. Which was good enough for me to swap one of my lines from Page Plus Cellular...
Glad to be off contract since 2010...

I had some really old phones, like 25-30 years ago. I did have a brick phone in 1989 while in High School. Could be used as a weapon too.

Check the ones I have from back in the day.

My favorite was the Motorola Star Tac. If you talked for a long time it would burn your ear. In 2002 I had the small Nokia 8260 which was one of the best phones. I played snake on that one for hours. Sanyo had some great stuff from 2004-2006. My first smartphone in 2006 was the Treo 700W (Windows 3.0) and I loved that phone. Love the huge keyboard, touch color screen, stylus, etc. Thing was a tank. In 2010 it's been all iPhones since.

I had that white flip phone lol. Then for a while I didn't have a phone at all. Then came my baby LG Optimus L9 ( son through it out the window). After that I used a Concord, now I'm a unlocked iPhone 4S.

Nokia 3220 with the flashing bumpers. Switched to a Nokia 6103 flip phone, which I had for 3 years.

iPhone 5s. I was on AT&T for a very long time. Finally made the jump to T-Mobile and couldn't be happier.
